Sarasota Closet Installation Companies

So  I recently had a customer in South Sarasota(near the Sarasota Square Mall), who wanted “help with his closet.”  After meeting the nice couple, they proceeded to show me their closet system installation.  A closet installation was a nice word.  They had multiple drawers, shelves, closet bars, and large melamine peices scattered in their 8×12 closet. There were 2 shelving units half installed and being propped up by shims and pieces of wood.  I didn’t say much, then the just told me:  “The closet installation company from ….(you know the big box store) only came once in a while, and he finally told me he was sick and needed some time off.  We all know how this goes…”  I paid them half for all of the pieces and the closet installation cost, and now they left me hanging!”

“I couldn’t find any closet installers near me!”

I was kind of surprised when he said he couldn’t find any closet installers nearby.  I knew I wasn’t the only closet installation company Sarasota had to offer.   I could rattle off a couple, but I didn’t want to make him feel uncomfortable.  He said a called a couple of nearby closet installers in south Sarasota, and nobody wanted to tackle a botched closet organizer installation.  After seeing that mess, I couldn’t blame them.  On the other hand, I really enjoy cleaning up other closet installation service’s messes, although I don’t like to see people get taken.  I decided to install the closet organizer, along with my own improvisation due to the mix and match closet organizer materials.  I later came to find out that I quoted half of what one other closet installation company cost, but I was happy that the nice man would be happy.

Closet Organizer installation-Where to Begin?

So, I sifted through the closet shelves, and finally found the directions to the closet system.  I called the you know who big box store, to find some extra closet organizer cam bolts and other hardware.  The lady told me that they have discontinued the Rubbermaid closet organizers, and there was no way to get any more parts.  The thing is the customer bought the closet system only 2 months ago!  Well, this closet installer had to pull out his many ways to skin a cat hat…again!  

Closet Installation Company Saves the Day

Well, I like to think this…So the final product included solid 6 foot shelves, with towel hooks, 3 long closet bars, so his wife could hang plenty of things, and shoe racks for him… for what his wife calls the shoe hoarder.
